This Privacy Policy explains how PepTan handles information. The short version: your saved photos, logs, Glow history, and health journal stay locally on your device. PepTan does not use CloudKit sync, Supabase photo storage, or a RailSplit Games LLC server to store your local history.

PepTan stores the information you enter, capture, or choose in the app on your device using local Apple storage. This can include progress photos, selected AI goal preview if generated, skin or mole photos, sampled skin-tone values, Glow Score history, dose journal entries, symptom logs, blood-pressure logs, settings, and notes.
PepTan does not ask for an account, email address, phone number, or sign-in to use the local tracking features. The local store is marked to stay out of device backups where iOS allows it. If you move to a new phone, your PepTan history does not automatically follow you.
If you request AI goal photos or turn on AI photo notes, PepTan sends the selected progress photo, and when available the previous progress photo, to an AI processing provider through a RailSplit Games LLC-controlled proxy. The proxy keeps the AI API key off your phone and returns cosmetic goal previews or a short tone/evenness note. These features are optional. AI outputs are for cosmetic progress tracking only; they are not medical review, diagnosis, or a skin-cancer screen.
Local app data is used on your device to provide PepTan features such as Glow Score, photo timelines, logs, reminders, and exports. Off-device service-provider data is used only to verify subscriptions, operate optional AI photo features, diagnose crashes, understand aggregate app usage, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share your health logs for advertising. We do not show ads. We do not recommend, supply, source, or sell Melanotan, peptides, or any substance.
The AI provider key is held server-side and is not shipped in the app. Service-provider requests use encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and AI features should be treated as convenience features, not medical or security-critical systems.
PepTan is intended for users aged 17 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.

These Terms govern your use of PepTan, published by RailSplit Games LLC. By using the app, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 17 years old to use PepTan.
PepTan is a personal tan and skin progress tracker. It can sample skin tone from a photo, estimate a Glow Score, store local logs, help you maintain a photo timeline, and optionally generate AI goal photos or AI photo notes if you request those features.
PepTan is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, detect, screen for, treat, or prevent disease, including skin cancer or melanoma. The app does not provide dosing, medical, or substance advice. Glow Score, ITA values, AI goal photos, and AI photo notes are estimates for personal tracking only and may be wrong. Always consult a qualified clinician about health concerns.
PepTan does not sell, supply, source, promote, or recommend Melanotan or any peptide or substance. The dose log is a private journal of choices you have already made, not a recommendation or protocol.
If you request AI goal photos or enable AI photo notes, you authorize PepTan to send selected progress photos to an AI processing provider through a secure proxy for the limited purpose of generating cosmetic goal previews or short tone/evenness notes. AI output may be wrong and must not be treated as medical advice, diagnosis, or a skin-cancer screen.
Some features may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold and billed through Apple and may be managed using RevenueCat. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Payments are handled by Apple.
Use PepTan lawfully and for your own personal tracking. Do not reverse engineer, disrupt, abuse, or use the app to provide medical, diagnostic, or clinical services to others.
You retain ownership of photos, measurements, and logs you create in PepTan. Local content is stored on your device. You are responsible for maintaining any backups you want outside the app.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that measurements, AI previews, AI notes, reminders, or outputs will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RailSplit Games LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, health decisions, or reliance on app outputs. Our total liability for claims relating to the app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim or US $25.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
